Why use Charting the LifeCourse (CtLC) to gain and sustain competitive integrated employment? High expectations support individuals to find success in meaningful and fulfilling employment. Hear some ideas about how SCs can use CtLC to help spark interest, build relationships, map out skills, assets, and interests to find and sustain jobs! CtLC can help SCs collaborate with people and their families towards those identified outcomes. Gaining and sustaining meaningful competitive integrated employment provides an intrinsic motivation to work and brings meaning to people’s lives. SCs are encouraged to have a person(s) in mind when attending as it may be helpful for learning ways to apply the framework. At the end of the session, ideas will be suggested for SCs to try with someone. SCs are strongly encouraged to join the SC VOH (Part II) which will be 2-3 weeks later to discuss and ask questions.
